I managed to find some nice 6 mm garnets. They are a deep rich color and they feel wonderful in the hand. Has the weight of a 14k gold rosary or a pearl rosary. The Our Father beads are Sterling Silver All the metal parts are Sterling Silver (wire: Argentium Sterling).
